SEIS Alumni

Founded in 1944 as one of China’s first English language programs, the School of English and International Studies (SEIS) is proud of its distinguished global alumni network. Our graduates embody the BFSU spirit of public service, applying their knowledge and skills to make significant contributions in a wide range of fields. Their achievements bring great honor to the university and serve as an inspiration to our community.

SEIS is committed to fostering a lifelong community with our graduates. We view our alumni as vital partners in our continued growth and strive to provide a strong network of support. The SEIS Alumni Relations Office, established in 2012 along with the SEIS Alumni Association, leads our efforts to connect with and serve our alumni community.

To keep our alumni engaged, the Alumni Relations Office manages several platforms, including the e-magazine SEIS Alumni, our official WeChat account, and a dedicated alumni section on our website. We host a variety of events, such as reunions, forums, and school history exhibitions, to welcome graduates back to campus. Initiatives like the “Weigong Alumni Forum” invite distinguished alumni to share their expertise with current students, creating valuable mentorship opportunities. Through the “Shiqing Fund,” established on the principle of “from alumni, for alumni,” we provide scholarships and support for students and fellow graduates, strengthening the bonds between generations.
